Former President Clinton to headline July 25 Boswell fundraiser

Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to headline a July 25 fundraiser for Democratic Leonard Boswell in Warren County, aides to the Des Moines Congressman said.

Boswell, a perennial Republican target, is being challenged this year in his bid for an eighth term by state Sen. Brad Zaun of Urbandale.

The fundraiser is a private event, not open to the public or press, to be held at the home of Dwayne McAninch of Norwalk. The tickets are $250 each. Contact Boswell’s office at [phone] or go to boswellforcongress.com.

Boswell’s district includes Polk County and 11 south- and east-central counties in Iowa, although Warren County is in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District.
