Imagine what it's going to be like for Republicans if they come up short
If Republicans fail to take control of both the House and the Senate, they can't push their agenda. They will be in the same position as they are now, and will have to rely on obstruction for the next two years.

1. they won't get the Senate. And if they get the House,
they will simply screw themselves over for the 2012 elections by behaving like clueless assclowns.

4. They'll be sure to rig a lot of elections so they don't lose.
It's my one fear for November... stolen elections.

6. A wonderful lose-lose situation for them

If they lose, sucks to be them. If they win the house, voters will remember how they obstructed everything in
their path in 2012.

16. They don't remember anything right now

The media has helped push the "blame Obama for the economy" meme. Too many americans
think the media is truthful. They accept everything summed up to them. Sad, but true.

If they win the house, it's because some people are too self-absorbed to go and vote. While
indies and non-affiliated voters are more apt to believe the media, dems have no excuse for
not voting.

9. There is no way republicans are gonna hold 200 plus seats
not get one of the members of the House voted out and then pick up 39 more of the Democratic held seats. They are messing their pants because the MSM is pushing this. And just think They have to protect 18 seats in the senate. The Democrats 13. Do you think that the republicans will retain ALL 18 seats and then pick up at least 11 to 12 more to take the senate. No way.

10. Admittedly, the bar is being set pretty high for them right now
But after a couple of months of "The Republican Party is Dead" stories like we had after the last election, Democratic officeholders will still own the economy. And my prediction is that many of the remaining ones will have just survived cliffhanger elections that will drive them to the right in the next two years.

But that's only if we keep both houses of Congress, and I don't think that's terribly likely, frankly.

12. Can't push their agenda any harder than they've already have you mean ...
... HCR was the GOP Plan from the 90's, killed the public option, killed drug importation, they weakened the volker rule, maintained too big to fail, protected off shore oil drilling, tells Obama who to fire, keeps their guys in charge of the economy.

But I'm sure if their numbers increase it will just be hell for them. They still won't get their favorite ice cream served in the capitol building cafeteria.

Can they really complain about being in the same position they are now? They get much of what they want and the Dems get the black eye.

13. "HCR was the GOP Plan from the 90's"
Why do they want to defund or repeal it?

One of the problems with some of these criticisms is that they fall into the category of say anything.
