O'Donnell sidesteps specifics on funds, says 'no truth' to allegationsFrom Brian Todd, Gary Tuchman and Kevin Bohn, CNN
September 21, 2010 5:21 a.m. EDT

Middletown, Delaware (CNN) -- Delaware GOP Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell, in comments exclusive to CNN, refused to answer specific questions Monday night about allegations she misused funds from her previous campaign and tried to downplay their significance.

On the allegations she said there's "no truth to it."

She spoke to CNN after a candidates' forum. She asked, "Why are you listening to a liberal organization in the first place?" -- referring to Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a nonpartisan campaign watchdog group that filed a complaint Monday against the O'Donnell campaign.

Seeking to change the subject, she said "the momentum surrounding this campaign is obvious."

"I am positive we have been ethical," she said before walking off. "I personally have not misused campaign funds."

The campaign has hired a lawyer -- an expert in campaign finance -- to answer those charges "if it goes anywhere," O'Donnell said.

4. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I thought Palladino was toast.
He won irrespective of his racism and sexism. So we have to keep in mind that these people don't care about shit or the issues. Additionally, nothing really sticks. The whole witch thing isn't that big of a deal---especially since she smartly explained it away as something in her youth. No one can fault her in experimenting. The masturbation thing is another one that's not a big deal--although she offends a few people. And lastly, I've seen some of the other footage from P.I. in it's hey days, nothing special. So my point being, we're too quick to judge and move on. We can't do that...we can't go there underestimating her and her freakoids---mainly because they've beat out incumbents in their own party.

2. The next 40 or 50 days or so may be a bit stressful ones
for Christine O'Donnell.

There are tapes of her saying incredibly irresponsible things circulating all over the web. The remarks are divisive at best and completely Wack City at worst.

And then there may be the question of who did what with the cash.

3. Isn't that the only reason they could impeach President Clinton
they had absolutely nothing against him til he lied. So the IRS does have proof of her income tax invasion and when they get her under oath and she answers with lies. That that that that's all folks.
