Jenny Sanford filing for divorce
Edited on Fri Dec-11-09 10:17 AM by Mass
While I am sure her political views are as atrocious as her (soon to be ex-)husband, I have some admiration for a woman who refused to stand by her man and play the good wife.

1. This is why I didn't understand who you were talking about. It's SanFORD not DORF.
Yeah I agree. She gave up a career to be 'the good Christian wife' glad she's stepping out on her own.

2. Jenny Sanford
is doing the best thing for her family. Now the governor will be free to hike the Appalachian Trail with his soulmate.

9. Awesome.. perhaps Mrs. Edwards will be next??
If we're going to applaud one cheating husband for getting dropped like a hot rock.. i'd like to see others do it as well.

But, I also realize that she's fighting terminal cancer - and obviously that has a huge affect on what you do in a situation like this.

10. Oh, she played good enough to keep impeachment off the table for him.
Now that's settled, she can divorce him with a clear conscience.

12. I feel bad for her, but you have to do what you have to do
Hopefully she gets what she deserves from her husband to allow her to restart her own life.

13. I, for one, am not surprised...
and it's about time someone held these despicable R's to account. Seems as if they get away with all kinds of things they condemn D's for, and refuse to be held accountable...Jenny has scruples, something her, (soon to be ex), husband apparently left behind as he climbed the ladder.
