Don't think he's hit 51% in a while.

It's largely because people see the economy improving. The thing is that the recovery hasn't even really accelerated yet.

3. people thinking that the economy is improving is infectious and will spread rapidly
much the same way that the Recession got much worse than it should have been because people were infected with fear and even those who could spend didn't.

Herd dynamics.
