Per Faux News, John Thune will NOT run for President in 2012. Just posted on his facebook.
He seems bland and boring to me anyway, but he's taken himself out of the running.

2. I, too, saw him as their toughest candidate (amongst those thinking of running). I'm
glad he's not running, which I DO believe. I was especially worried of a Thune/Rubio ticket.

6. I've never heard him say anything.......so other than being tall,
what has he done exactly that would make him a "tough" competitor? Looking the part? :shrug:

It's one of the reasons Kucinich lost so badly. He's also not as wild as a Palin or a Barbour.
