1. because Austan is a bad a$$ and can handle it....
..... seriously, how's he doing?

But let's be honest, Rumsfeld has people killed, Austan ehh no actual water boarding that I'm aware of, who would YOU give a harder time to? ;)

3. Probably the usual two reasons
1. So he can show he's not "partisan"

2. The old "we expect more out of someone like Goolsbee" argument. That is the most pathetic of all.

6. Because Goolsbee is caught in a logical contradiction
and can't give a straight answer.

8. Because right-wing punidts make more money than lefties.
Sorry, but I've been disillusioned by Stewart, ever since he declared war on Olbermann.

10. I've quit watching too - all the neo-cons on his show and our side barely gets on
No thanks, I've had enough of them to last a lifetime - didn't watch Dave this week either after having Rummy on. I don't want to hear that it is because his corporate masters are making them. They get to choose their guests and if cramming neo-cons down our throats nicely, then screw 'em, I don't want to watch.

11. Have you seen the whole thing?
Maybe you should watch the whole Rumsfeld discussion, if you haven't yet.

http://www.thedailyshow.com/

It's over 30 minutes long... longer than the whole on-air show, including commercials.
