1. She could do a Kucinich
and file for reelection too. Then when it's crystal clearly obvious she has a not a snowball's chance in hell, she pulls out of the race and only runs for reelection.

3. So did Joe Lieberman, Lyndon Johnson, and Joe Biden.
Lieberman lost the vice-presidency and won Senate reelection. Johnson and Biden won both.
