DJIA went from 10500 to 7900 during Bush's term

DJIA went from 10500 to 7900 during Bush's term
It closed at 11300 and change today.

So.. -2600 over Bush's 8 years.

+3400 over Obama's 2.6 years.


Do you REALLY want to tie the market to the President, freepers?

1. I think it's hilarious when conservatives advocate for Social Security to start buying equities
...since the very essence of Socialism is government ownership of corporations.

It went as high as 14.5k under bush and at the start of 2008, it was at 12.8k. Dropped down to 8k at Obama's inauguration. Every year has recorded gains for Obama. Even with the recent drops, Obama is in the black in the last 12 months.
