8. Nothing will happen with either. It will be total gridlock, as we see now with a divided government.
The only way anything progressive gets done in those scenarios is if in the "GOP White House/Dem Congress" scenario, Democrats can override a veto or Teddy Roosevelt or Dwight Eisenhower come back from the dead.

If you don't want gridlock, your team needs the President and at least one branch of the legislature.

13. President Obama has beaten expectations.
If you want to compare President Obama to Bush, hands-down President Obama despite a far less compliant Congress.

But if you want Progressive results, get the President a more Progressive Congress to GENERATE more legislation.
