1. The news media is NOT liberal.
Not anymore, at least. It's all driven by conflict, bias to the right (which is more favorable to the gigantic corporations that own the media), and hyperbole. There is no nefarious liberal agenda that so many think there is.

2. These were Democratic districts where the incumbent were Democrats.
No real shock that Democrats retained the districts. It would be news if the Democrats had "loosing" their districts as you like to spell it.

3. Well, the news that Democrats beat Republicans in Red districts
didn't make it out of the Corporate News Media's producer drawer
last week neither.

Please tell why that was?

5. Perhaps since Obama won those districts in 08?
They weren't as red as has been portrayed. Also the turn out was low (41%) compared to the regular election turn out (70%). The two Rs that lost had personal issues which became part of the campaign. But I did hear about the results on plenty of news outlets even if you didn't.

6. They own the media
The cable news are tabloids now a days. Infotainment.
