Why is the "Google search DU or the Web" still highlighted as "NEW!"?

Every now and then, the flashy-red, all-caps "NEW!" flag catches my eye, and I'm fooled into believing, though just for a fleeting moment, that there is a new feature on DU that I haven't seen yet.

So I thought I'd ask about it. How old is the google search feature? Is it time to remove the "NEW!" designation?
