@MMFlint Michael Moore
How come no headline ever read "Multi-Millionaire Murders 3,000"? It would have been correct. No, best to focus on OBL being a "Muslim."

1. That's ridiculous...
OBL's twisted view of his religion was central to his world view, motivations and practices.

inheritance.

5. what on earth do you have to base that on besides the very propaganda mm is citing?
leaders of all sorts throughout history have (ab)used or simply faked religious belief, piety, whatever was necessary to rise to power and to manipulate and control their followers and subjects.

it is FAR more likely that his views were a function of economic disparity between the first world and the third world and the first world's military efforts to maintain that disparity. his religious speech was likely secondary to that.

do you REALLY think we were a target because we're not an islamic nation? if so, why didn't he pick on any other country in this hemisphere? no, he attacked us because we're rich and we kill to keep it that way.

religion merely steels one up to make the ultimate sacrifice for what's really an economic cause.

the overwhelming majority of military actions and mass violent attacks have always been mostly, if not entirely, about economics. the rest is window-dressing.

4. Because rich people are responsible for a lot of deaths.
How many of our wars have been started by the poor?

6. Good point
Wealthy people are able to feed their narcissism amply and it is no fun without followers and control of others.
Now the billionaires in this country are trying to take over the government and our educational system. After they shred their hated safety net, many people will die from their efforts if they are successful.
