May 8-14th is National Oral, Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Week
http://www.headandneck.org/site/c.8hKNI0MEImI4E/b.6281225/k.BDD9/Home.htm

I'm a survivor of thyroid cancer. Visit the above link to learn symptoms. Some of these cancers are among the most treatable forms of cancer and they are the 6th most common forms of cancer in the US. Request check as part of your physical or look for free screening which may be in your area this week. Donate if you are able.

Fight cancer.

2. Continued recovery wishes for him.
I had a complete thyroidectomy and ablation. Synthroid is my friend now. I feel so fortunate that I was diagnosed when I was because the tumors were very close to now longer being contained by the gland. I'm five years out from treatment and remain cancer free.

4. I'm a two-year survivor of tonsil cancer. I'm also a member of SPONHC (Support for People with
Oral, Neck, and Head Cancers.

These cancers are sometimes difficult to diagnose and so are only discovered in Stage III or IV.

6. So sorry for your loss. Both of my parents and one of my
brothers died of various cancers. Cancer is a horrible disease in whatever form it attacks the body. (((kennedy)))

7. Kick.. when they did my brain surgery, they were unsure if I had an occult malignancy
I have cared for a TON of oral/throat cancer patients here due to oral tobacco being so prevalent,as well as so many cement factories.
Donation given gladly.

8. Thank you, lady.
I'm so happy that you were able to receive treatment and come back to us. So many of these types of cancers go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed until they are advanced. (((w8lifinglady)))
