troops to cover all the mountain pass exits into Pakistan. I didn't say that about Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld and Gen. Franks did that - it was Mike Coll, a number of CIA officers on the ground, and a 2009 Senate Report that concluded that.

It's lies upon lies to cover-up lies, all along. Timmy was just one (particularly influential) cog in that lie machine.

12. I got into an argument with a co-worker

about this shit when it was happening. This guy is a chemist, generally a pretty bright guy, that really bought the idea that bin Laden and his merry band of whackos could drill out thousands of square feet of mountain, put in hydroelectric power and yet remain completely hidden from outside detection.

He also bought, hook line and sinker, the whole WMD scam that shrub and cronies passed off as reason to invade Iraq. Finally three years after the invasion he bought me the case of beer we bet that there were no WMD's.
