Police Stop Men From 'Killing Spree' After W.V. DUI Crash

Police said Nathan Fuller Jr., 28, bought a knife at a Belle Vernon Walmart store and planned on using it to go across the country on a mass murder spree.

Fuller told police that he left the Walmart store over the weekend and went to a Penn State campus to find a victim. The criminal complaint said, "Those subjects would always get into a vehicle prior to reaching him, but he came really close to killing someone."

Police said Fuller then drove to Morgantown to meet up with John Moore, 47. Investigators said the men were about to set off on their mission to kill people when a drunk Fuller crashed into a tree in Rivesville, W.V.

Rivesville police said Fuller started talking about how, "he was going to go through West Virginia killing people at random, stopping at rest areas and locating a few girls and cutting them, then stealing their wallets and vehicles."

When they go after women many of the serial killer types(and I'm not saying this looney was) like that up close and personal weapon like a knife or a garrote, etc. Gun can be too impersonal to them.
