was a woman from Florida who was one of the very first here. She greeted everyone with courtesy, including me, when I first arrived. She was on Gore's side to the knife after 2000.

She was one that I will always say was the best of us.

They were very nice to me when I joined. I miss them. :-(

42. ssffreeways was ill the last time we talked - I think that was

the spring of '04 or 05, I'd have to check. The previous Christmas she sent my son a computer, in a dedication to her own deceased son. It was her way of honoring her son's life. It was a beautiful gesture, something I always wanted to pay back.

I think of her often, wondering how to contact her. She was getting ready to move to Paris, as her wife was deported back to France.

I'm another DUer who signed up the day DU opened. This place scared the beejeebers outa me! Seriously. IndianaGreen was here then too, so was Whyzaker.

21. Heavens, yes... She was as much the foundation of DU...

as Kephra and so many more that we have lost or who have left DU to other pursuits. Her remembrance of all of our significant milestones, was just amazing. I hope she is ok and wish she'd check in with us if she can.
