7. You could think of it as voting against the candidate with the best chance.

6. I'd vote for Bachmann if she gets in
Because I like to laugh, and I think the only politician dumber than Sarah Palin would make for great comedy.

21. I think it would be a good idea to vote for her
if she has a chance. If someone had a chance against Obama, you can bet there would be GOPers voting for him. We have open primaries in my state, and I'm going to vote for the worst candidate who has a viable chance.

14. The problem with voting in the Republican primary
is that you get a Republican ballot so you can't vote for your choice of Democratic candidates in other elections.

Here in CA they are going to try something new and if I understand it correctly the top two vote getters, regardless of party, face off in the general election. So in theory you could get two republicans to choose from. Just another example of the joys of the Initiative process.

So I'll stick to voting Democratic in the primaries. Though I don't think Democrats can cross over and vote Republican in the CA primaries anyway.

17. We have closed primaries in Arkansas. You must choose your primary.
And I think you have to choose the primary that is your party declaration on your voter reg.

Nonetheless - if I HAD to vote in the Republican primary, I might vote for Ron Paul - just because of his libertarian side.

But I don't have to make that choice.
