why??? when there is a line of storms does it always break up right before it gets to our city

why??? when there is a line of storms does it always break up right before it gets to our city
it happens so often. the line is huge. inevitable we are finally going to get rain. the line stays in tack all the way up texas, but right at amarillo it breaks up to nothing. and we get nothing. rain all around us. but we get nothing.

1. I'm down the road from you in San Antonio, know how you feel.
Same thing happens to us here, it's as if we have an invisible dome over us. We sure do need the rain....

2. exactly. we have had like .016 all year. so dry. checking the number i asked hubby
he mentioned an article on msnbc and san antonio is in it.

3. That's what happens in that part of TX that is north of OK
I went up to the panhandle once-talk about the edge of the known universe.

the very edge. huh? lol.

the rain has been east of us. everyone else getting all kinds of rain. but even when we are finally going to get some, boom, disappears.

Please. No, really. Take it. We're flippin' drenched, and we'd like some summer now, thanks.

There was actually an article a couple weeks back in the paper on the effect that the never-ending winter was having on people's moods. The wet weather this spring has broken Utah rainfall records. We all just want it to STOP NOW. Texas is welcome to it. Anyone is welcome to it. Just make it go away from here.
