But, I still wonder about those that were calling for her to be voted out (that's putting it nicely, btw) before the shooting. Now that she's been shot in the head, she's okay with everyone?

I understand that there is a divide between compassion and politics. Hell, I've even wished Glenn Beck well when there was a rumor he was "seriously ill". But, I didn't get all warm and fuzzy over him as so many former Gifford's haters have seem to have done. It was more, "Hey, hope you don't die".

I guess it doesn't matter. She's a great lady and a fine Representative. Even before she was shot. I just hope her recovery continues and that the long-term effects are minimal.
