Axelrod slams Sarah Palin

Axelrod: Palin Reflects ‘Why We Can’t Abandon Education’

CHICAGO (CBS) – Top Obama adviser David Axelrod on Tuesday said Republican superstar Sarah Palin is “a good reflection of why we can’t abandon education.”

Axelrod was weighing in on Palin’s recent gaffe on Paul Revere, in which she claimed Revere had set off in part to warn the British “that they weren’t going to be takin’ away our arms.”

“I think it’s a good reflection of why we can’t abandon education,” Axelrod said. “We need good education so everybody knows their history lessons.”

1. I love it and it is very true
I would like to know if she was always so dumb or if it happened because of something that happened later in life, like a hit to the head or something.

5. So then, why is his boss doing the best he can to tear down education?
Oh, and Axelrod, a piece of advice for you. Ignore the bright shiny object known as Palin and she will go away. She thrives on attention, good, bad or indifferent. Keep feeding her attention and she will continue to haunt you. Ignore her and she fades away.

6. LOL. You really think that Palin is going to 'fade away'?
Everyone needs to keep exposing her idiotic statements until each and every American sees how under educated and unqualified she truly is.

7. It has been my contention for a long time that Palin has long exceeded her fifteen minutes of fame
The only thing keeping her going is the ongoing obsession that Democrats seem to have with her. I realize that she is the pinata that keeps on giving, but Palin is the quintessential publicity hound. Good publicity, bad publicity, indifferent publicity, it doesn't matter, it is all good for her because it keeps her in the public spotlight. What other national figure makes a semi-controversial statement about a historical event, only to watch it whipped into a frothy mass of media publicity except Palin.

She isn't a threat for the WH, and I'm willing to bet good money that she doesn't even run. The only thing that is keeping her going right now is the fact that we keep on beating that dead horse. Let her lie, and yes, she will fade away.
