1. My tea mug is
I bought it from a local potter.

But yes, "Made in China" on the bottom would be more disgusting than ironic.

9. Yes, but wouldn't it be nice if the campaign put our donations where its mouth is?
Although that sounds like the campaign is merely eating our money. Hmmmm.

4. Some pottery is still made in the US
so if they claim it is, rather than not, that's good enough for me.

8. Too bad it doesn't say. If it isn't, it's as bad as the crappy "Proud to be an American" t-shirts
with flags and eagles that are made in China.

ONE WOULD HOPE that the campaign could at least make a nominal effort to buy made-in-USA stuff. But I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't. The attitude the administration has had toward workers....well...

I live in a very blue district and all the DFLers who run here know where to buy their union-made-in-the-USA campaign schwag. Back in the day, Republican candidates had union bugs on their signs, too.

10. For the 2008 election, I believe everything they sold was made in the US
I would assume since this mug has been available since May 18 (at least), that if it wasn't made in America, there would have been an article about it.

12. Coffee cups made in America are still common.
I just checked, and all of ours except a set of Star Wars mugs are US-made. Our dinnerware all seems to be from Turkey, however. Odd, that.
