Weiner--Why Doesn't He Come Out "Ass A Fire" & Really Stun Them?
I'm not writing this as some "smart" remark...I'm serious. Weiner has NOTHING to lose because if all else failes, they will re-district him. Our Dems (and I'm getting real sick, real fast of these goddamn pieces of corporate property pawning themselves off as our champions)do not like him and never did because shouting liberal things in public makes their corporate-owned skins crawl. Soooo, Weiner should take all this media that is following him around and start "telling it like it is" on Capitol Hill. Call them out---the whole lousy bunch who are meeting in private and trying to find out some way to fuck us and bullshit their way out of what they are doing to us. Let him tell us the games Obama is playing. Let him tell us the games our Dem Party is playing. And let him burn a fireball from hell straight through the Repukes and who all (foreign and domestic)are dictating their votes to them. UNLEASH THE WEINER!!!!!! (And I wish I were in a position to give him a TV show!). Go for it, Anthony, because these slime will tiptoe quietly around a Vitter or an Ensign BUT none of them can stand you because they don't like your fighting for (gag, puke) the people!

1. Because his wife is part of the Democratic power structure...
And he is going to be a father soon.

2. Prediction on wife
..if she becomes anymore part of the spotlight our Dems will see to it that she slips quietly away, too. There is no safe ground and she will unfortunately learn that.

4. Nope. She is Hillary Clinton's most valuable asset.
She stays.

7. No way.. Huma is safe.. she is the real victim here.. Dems will support her.
Huma and A.Weiner may have had some understanding about his penchant for on-line entertainment but I suspect this was a bit more than she ever expected.

8. I would be proud
to know my father stood up for the people in the manner of which the OP speaks.

That seems like a reason to do it, not a reason to restrain from it.

stop pretending that Weiner is some ultra progressive. Weiner is actually to the right of Obama on several issues, including on Israel.

Sure he's outspoken, but other than criticizing Iraq after voting for the resolution (Pelosi and others voted against it), what exactly qualifies him as more progressive than Obama (who as President is pulling the troops out of Iraq)? Fairly certain that a Senator Obama would be able to shoot spitballs from the sidelines with the best of them.

Yes, he has been a good Democrat, but so have a lot of elected Dems.
