How they'll finally force me to become a vegetarian.
http://www.digitaltrends.com/international/japanese-scientists-creates-meat-out-of-feces/

It's being called the "poop burger". Japanese scientists have found a way to create artificial meat from sewage containing human feces.

Somehow this feels like a Vonnegut plotline: population boom equals food shortage. Solution? Synthesize food from human waste matter. Absurd yes, but Japanese scientists have actually discovered a way to create edible steaks from human feces.

Mitsuyuki Ikeda, a researcher from the Okayama Laboratory, has developed steaks based on proteins from human excrement. Tokyo Sewage approached the scientist because of an overabundance of sewage mud. They asked him to explore the possible uses of the sewage and Ikeda found that the mud contained a great deal of protein because of all the bacteria.

The researchers then extracted those proteins, combined them with a reaction enhancer and put it in an exploder which created the artificial steak. The “meat” is 63% proteins, 25% carbohydrates, 3% lipids and 9% minerals. The researchers color the poop meat red with food coloring and enhance the flavor with soy protein. Initial tests have people saying it even tastes like beef.

24. You don't seem to understand that Mother Earth has been doing the above all along.

What do you think happens to all those who have been buried six feet under over the millennia?
The coffins (mostly made of wood) eventually rot, and what was left of the bodies have long since
decayed and have been used up by insects, bugs and plants. Have you never heard of the saying cows
eat grass, we eat the cows, and when we die we are buried and push up the grass..."?

Do you know how small an atom is? It takes many millions of them placed in a line to make one inch.
And this is only one-dimensional. Bodies are three-dimensional. millions x millions x millions
to equal one cubic inch. A cubic inch of material has an astronomical number of atoms.

There is also another saying that what you don't know won't hurt you. I don't think this saying is
always true, but in the present case, you haven't been hurt yet, have you?

Mother Earth is the greatest recycler. If she weren't, she would have died out a long time ago. It's
not very far from the truth to say that in the matter that's making up your physical body, there isn't one
single atom or molecule that hasn't been a part of every other creature that has ever lived on earth.

26. It so happens that broccoli is possibly THE vegetable with the
most different kinds of cancer-fighting chemicals. Cauliflower comes close, being in
the same family as broccoli. You may not like them, but it's healthy to just chew
them well and swallow while watching tv. :)
