What sort of statement is he making?

I say it's wishful thinking and a smattering of Freudian slippage. He thinks he's a legend with a killer instinct. Burst his bubble and he's really an out-of-shape balding dude with a fistful of dollars and a vivid fantasy life, more the railroad/cattle baron type than notorious gunman and robber.

1. This is who tea partiers turn to for economic leadership?
Hey, Koch moron, you can get a nice print down at Kinkos for five bucks.

2. Well, that Billy the Kid was one ugly little punk, so I'd have to say
that transaction was a case of ugly for ugly. Like seeks like, and all that...

3. They are all just wee little buckos dreaming about being cowboys
and toting six-guns because their wee wees are too small. Oh well.

And you are right. Billy the Kid should not be a mogul's role model. Especially if he is an emasculated old windbag.

4. The article says he likes to collect artifacts from America's historic west.

For someone like that, a picture of Billy the Kid would be a great treasure.

Just seems like typical nerdy behavior to me. Reading anything into this is probably folly.

9. My god, what if he allows these historical artifacts to be publicly

viewed! God darn it, this is how museums get started. We have to stop this cold hearted bastard now!

Stamp out fascism, burn down a museum today! (for this once I am going to omit the sarcasm tag, surely it is not necessary...)

5. He is William Kock ........ not one of the two that buy and sell
politicians ..... my understanding is he has very little to do with charles and david the evil ones

At least he buys history and does not try to shape it

8. And the difference between a dirty Conservative and us liberals
is that if one of us had that picture we would donate it to a museum.
