2. Translation from Greek:

Medium weights with 155 "yes" Law of the State by the afternoon the Term, which loads new burdens on the backs of consistent taxpayers, employees and pensioners. Approved by the full House by 155 votes, and the loss of positive votes of the University. Kouroumpli offset by Elsa Papadimitriou decision to vote for the program, putting herself outside New Republic. Members who have advertised their disagreement with the Term as Alekos Athanasiadis, ultimately sided with the government line. Kozani PASOK MP said that the speech of Prime Minister and Finance Minister's commitments convinced him to lift its reservations. Al. Athanasiadis stated its position in the most unorthodox way, as the chairman of the House Philippos Petsalnikos, allowed for the first time ever a member to explain his vote during the voting. This action prohibited by the rules of the House. Al. Athanasiadis was not the only MP who sympolitefsis anekrouse stern just before the crucial vote. Yesterday, during the parliamentary debate, Tom Robopoulos said that the dilemma of "dignity and salvation of the country" won the second. Similar was the attitude of Vasso Papandreou, who katakerafnose While the medium, and added that it is ready to assume responsibility for the collapse of the country. <snip> http://www.enet.gr/?i=news. el.article & id = 288827

6. I really liked this part from the article:
Outside, several thousand demonstrators spoken "no" and their voices sounded louder than the noise of the forces of repression that had been ordered to impose conditions of outright state terrorism.

7. I like it. I wish we could protest that strongly. Our citizens would die without a voice.
I don't know if we'd ever protest that way.

I'm not sure it's any more helpful, though. ;)
