Why can't Democrats run on Republican intransigence on taxes?
Don't most of the polls show that the majority want millionaires and billionaires to pay more in taxes? Instead, they would cut Social Security and Medicare which is a very unpopular idea with the voters? Isn't this a winning issue for Democrats? Why do they hesitate to use it?

1. When 80% of the public want something, and congress
can't pass a bill to get it, that just proves we don't live in a democracy. We're getting bullshit from both sides.

Millionaires, yes your congress critters increase their own taxes? Or even support legislation that favors the little guy more than themselves?

4. Ask 10 people -- 11 of them will say "Both sides do it".
And a lot of otherwise helpful folks -- I'm looking at you , Jon Stewart -- push this tack.
