We have a mighty battle on our hands.
It's starting already. Today I've seen at least 10 articles quoting Pentagon officials that state cuts would be "devastating" and the Super Committee should instead look to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
Even on CNN, the Pentagon had a special Pentagon correspondent bemoaning proposed cuts and how awful they would be...where is the Social Security correspondent? The Medicare and Medicaid correspondent? Oh my bad, those programs are worthless to the elite governing our country.
It's going to be tough folks...gear up.

Senior Pentagon officials have launched an offensive over the past two days to convince lawmakers that further reductions in Pentagon spending would imperil the country’s security. Instead of slashing defense, Panetta said, the bipartisan panel should rely on tax increases and cuts to nondiscretionary spending, such as Medicare and Social Security, to provide the necessary savings.
