I sure hope the President paid attention to Wisconsin last night
For the President there should have been a strong message in last night's recall elections in Wisconsin. This is what I hope he took from it. Even when Democrats are really fired up and come out in droves to vote for Candidates they strongly believe in and passionately wish to see take office they do not always win, so imagine how hard it will be for any Democrat to win if the base gives lack-luster support.

By the way, did the White House give any support to the Wisconsin Democrats, did he so much as do a robocall for any of them, did he go and give a speech that I missed, did he say anything about showing up to march in the picket lines?

2. Someone mentioned this last night (about Obama giving
support) and I think it would have benefitted the people, AND benefitted him. A missed opportunity, in my mind, but maybe they had their reasons.

3. I imagine he was too busy for trivia like that.
These cheeseheads with their nickel-and-dime political contributions are really not worth the time.

5. No, and he shouldn't....
It was a local issue and the president is far too polarizing in GOP leaning and GOP strongholds to do any good. In fact, he would have made it worse.

The only real chance we had in this recall was to make it as local as possible. The outside money came in to wash over the great fund raising the Dem's did at the local and state level.

6. The White House sent in OFA and the DNC to help in Wisconsin
early on...like in Feb. They stayed and helped to GOTV.

7. You would think that he would be there supporting the candidates
He kept saying how much he supported the unions and how he would put on those comfortable shoes.
