deregulation happens to the financial industry. The sub prime mortgage bubble bursts and countries around the world go into recession exacerbating debt problems that could have been more easily solved if the world economies were healthy and growing. Unemployment rises and some guy is killed by the police. People with no hope take to the streets and sack and loot parts of London. The poor and the rich are it seems linked directly.

Talk about externalities. We need to speak this loud and clear. Instability in the world is all about deregulations. It was order that made the West so rich and so stable. Business getting power the world over does not for a healthy world make.
