In Memory of Mark Hatfield...
When I worked in the Parking Division at the Multnomah County Courthouse in Portland, Oregon, we towed your car. This was back in 1985. You had accumulated too many parking tickets. You were mad. And, so were we. But, we took your money, you fulfilled your obligation and it was all good.

Thank you for helping this beautiful city obtain a great transit system and a beautiful waterfront.

2. Hatfield made the best political speech i have ever heard when
he was explaining why he was voting against our entering the
Gulf War.
He and Tom McCall were two of Oregon's best Republicans IMO....z
