Upcoming Denver 9/11 memorial concert reminds me of better days.
The Beach Boys and the Colorado Symphony (formerly the Denver Symphony Orchestra) will be playing at that concert. I'm sure it will be good, but I remember when these two groups played at Denver's Mile High Stadium for a Father's Day concert. How sweet was that! Everyone was enjoying the day! This was waaaayyy back in the late '80s before the oil wars, the baloney impeachment, the stolen election and the tea party trying to tank the economy.

The good vibrations are gone but as is always true in Colorado, whether someone is bombing innocent civilians or good people are just "getting around," the mountains will be beautiful. That is a good constant.
