10. In CA, news crews always go to the market dairy section to show
spilled milk. That's how they measure the quake severity. :)

I can imagine that folks not used to quakes would be pretty...shook up.
but the wiki article reports a couple of burst pipes, fallen ceiling tiles, which makes me wonder what would happen in a 6.4.
or worse, in the DC area.
