Sugar Daddy Gopper refuses to resign.

Sugar Sugar.

Tea Party terrorist offered $80 to an 18 year old for two hours of good fun.

"Cannot be a long time sugar daddy," says one e-mail response from what is allegedly Hinkle's address, "but can for tonight. Would you be interested in keeping me company for a while tonight?" In the e-mails, Hinkle allegedly offers $80 for "a couple hours of your time tonight" plus a tip "for a really good time."

Gibson also claims that when he arrived at the hotel, Hinkle exposed himself and tried to prevent Gibson from leaving when he recognized Hinkle as a lawmaker. Hinkle then tried to buy his silence, and the silence of Gibson's sister, who had come to pick him up when the encounter went, er, south. More details here.

Hinkle denied these allegations in a statement. "While I must admit to mistakes of judgment, I am seeking professional help on what turned me down a road of self-destruction," he said.

Wow, he's a Republicant. The poor boy would have had a one minute blow out followed by one hour 59 minutes of talking about how tax cuts were the cure for premature ejaculation.

1. Stupid, immoral and incredibly cheap.
$80 for a couple hours. I wonder what he considered a "really good tip" - a five spot?

5. Hinkle is now admitting to "mistakes of judgment"?
Well, that's certainly more than his general non-denial denial I recall from the immediate aftermath when this story first broke. He called it a "shakedown." Forgive my cynicism, but I suspect Mr. Hinkle's biggest mistake - in his own mind, that is - was contacting the one Craig's List hooker (yeah, right) who couldn't be bought.
