This Earthquake happened in the middle of the heart of Virginia's Holy Christ Wonder Bread Republicanism. You know those people who blame Katrina and other natural disasters on debauchery, or the gay, etc.

What does it mean? Is Gawd telling them to knock it off? I mean one of the few buildings in DC that was damaged was the National Cathedral. The Capital rotunda is roped off pending inspection. Personally, I think it has more to do with tectonics than any sky wizard, zombie or not.

Was Gawd striking at the Teabaggers or the Talibornagain? Will there be a Flood? The Lake Anna dam is within 20 miles of the epicenter. If it goes watch out downstream, then watch out at the nuke plant drawing cooling water from the lake. Oh, and the watershed will probably get a lot of rain from the hurricane over the weekend.

On a personal note, it sure messed up the commute. Metro was running at 15MPH.
