Twitter shuts down/later re-instates account of legal group that is suing NYPD for arrests.
A legal advocacy group that is suing the city on behalf of protesters who were arrested at the Brooklyn Bridge last Saturday got a smackdown - and then a reprieve - from Twitter Friday.

The Twitter account used by The Project for Civil Justice Fund was suspended by the website Friday afternoon. The charge: spamming users.

The PCJF said it did nothing wrong, but really needs its Twitter account so it can bring as many arrested protesters as possible into its class action lawsuit.

5. that lawsuit includes "10 “law enforcement officers not employed by the NYPD”.
WOW....private cops were used!!!!

See this related story about how Wall Street hires NYPD for their own use, pays the city to use them.
