Basically OWS. is saying give the American people a raise, stop the ever increasing profits
Wall street demands an increase in profit every quarter or a corporation is said to disappoint. Just making A profit for the year is not enough anymore. The talking heads on CNBC and Fox business channel are to blame for much of our countries financial problems.
Let the corporations give workers a wage increase for a change and watch this economy take off. They just do no get it, we need money to buy your products. Imagine if everyone got just a dollar an hour raise?.

1. $1 an hour?
$40 a week is going to make you run out and buy things?

$2000 a year is going to make all the difference in the world to you?

We need a lot more than $1 an hour to get this economy going again; we need the 15%+ who are out of work to get jobs.

You can't make a business hire employees they don't need, so I have no idea how exactly we are to break this stalemate.

2. Actually, it WOULD help the unemployment.
More people would have more money to spend, and they would spend it. If more people were going out to the movies, my job at the movie theater that closed for lack of business just might open back up again. That theater employed 25 people, full and part-time. If it opened again, those 25 people would be employed. And they'd have money to spend. And they'd spend it.

I'm still employed, but I am making 4K/yr less than I was - I could not justify finding another p/t job to keep my income the same, and take that job from someone who had none. I don't spend as much. I don't save as much. I can only send my unemployed daughter and son-in-law just so much.

So yeah, $2000 a year WOULD make all the difference in the world right now.

It's called 'stimulus'.

3. Don't think a 'raise,'exactly; more like a fair system,
which no longer exists.

4. It's saying as you call it a lot of things. Why?
Because there are a lot of things wrong.

5. The manner in which profits are reported by the MSM is very misleading.
Typically, profits are reported in $; however, the % of profit is the real measure of how well a company is doing.
