"Bill O'Reilly: Phase Two of the 'Occupy Wall Street' Protests: America the Police State"
Edited on Sat Oct-29-11 11:55 AM by TomCADem
Remember how Bill O'Reilly's efforts to demonize a doctor who performed abortions lead to the murder of the doctor. Well, here is Bill O'Reilly of Fox News cheerleading the near fatal injury of an Iraq war veteran:

Nice job Mayor, throwing your entire police department under the bus. That's what real leadership is all about.

Some liberal Americans continue to believe the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters have a valid beef and some may have. But these people are being exploited by powerful, radical organizations. They are being used in the hopes of embarrassing the U.S.A.

The "Occupy Wall Street" movement is not -- is not -- a spontaneous protest against economic inequality. It is a well thought-out campaign to bring down the infrastructure of this country to turn us into a western European type entitlement state.

That's what George Soros, MoveOn, the SEIU and many far-left journalists want. And they are using the protests to that end.

It is breathtaking how Fox pushes the Tea Party while condemning OWS while claiming that it is a legitimate news organization.

3. Sound like projection about the Tea Party...
anything that isn't coordinated by a corporate front group is a seditious conspiracy against the corporate order.

4. If Soros or MoveOn were behind it, I would hope
the protesters would at least have had permits and porta-johns. And why would Soros want a 'European style entitlement state'? The guys rich, it wouldn't benefit him at all. God, these people are stupid. And their followers are soooo gullible.

6. Whatever happened to him for attempting to bribe the cops
To fire his wife's boyfriend?

It was the subject of a lot of discussion (and jokes) for awhile but I haven't heard anymore about it.

7. Gotta love how they're smearing OWS by tying it to moderates like MoveOn
Edited on Sat Oct-29-11 03:52 PM by starroute
Unlike some people, I've got no beef with MoveOn. They're perfectly fine for what they are. But to pretend they're any further left than the liberal wing of the Democratic Party is ludicrous. Same for George Soros or SEIU.

The really weird thing about O'Reilly's rant is that large segments of OWS are far more radical than any of the usual suspects the right loves to trot out -- and are certainly not hoping for anything as mainstream as European-style social democracy. But the Fox News minions are completely blind to that genuine radicalism and would rather paint OWS as puppets of well-known moderates.

Bizarre.

8. Very apt observations. Almost as if Fox can't keep its cast of
left-wing villains straight any more, the list is getting so long.

Anyone who has spent any time at Occupy Los Angeles can see that the 'organization' (I use that term loosely) is neither powerful (the Wobblies? Come on. I happen to agree with many of their positions, but I would not say they match any definition of 'powerful'), nor necessarily radical, unless O'Reilly considers Ron Paul 'radical.'
