A very Republican friend of mine LOVED Obama's speech in Tucson

Saw him last night. We usually avoid talking politics but the news came on about Gabriella and he brought it up and literally praised Obama for like five minutes. Very genuine heart felt approval for the job Obama did. He said he almost turned it off in the first couple of minutes because all the kids were cheering for him and he was afraid it was going to be political but then he could tell Obama really meant what he was saying about everyone.

That may be true for Congressmen, but people like your friends are out there. That is who Obama is going for. He had good enough pollsters to win the presidency; I trust that they know something about the voting public.
