Let's not forget: The Less Discussed Part of Walker’s Wisconsin Plan: No-Bid Energy Assets Firesales
Let's not forget the 2 sentences ensconced in the Union busting bill that allowed for no-bid sale of Wisconsin energy assets to private buyers (Kochs) with a stroke of the Walker's signature.

16.896 Sale or contractual operation of state−owned heating, cooling, and power plants. (1) Notwithstanding ss. 13.48 (14) (am) and 16.705 (1), the department may sell any state−owned heating, cooling, and power plant or may contract with a private entity for the operation of any such plant, with or without solicitation of bids, for any amount that the department determines to be in the best interest of the state. Notwithstanding ss. 196.49 and 196.80, no approval or certification of the public service commission is necessary for a public utility to purchase, or contract for the operation of, such a plant, and any such purchase is considered to be in the public interest and to comply with the criteria for certification of a project under s. 196.49 (3) (b).

2. This was/is Walker's gift to the Koch Bros. and Bradleys.
With this he could deliver state assets to the 1% while never consulting the public:
"no approval or certification of the public service commission is necessary for a public utility to purchase, or contract for the operation of, such a plant,"

5. I wonder if the Bradley's are the ones that got Koch
involved to begin with? The fact that George Will is on the board of the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation should make us all pay closer attention to his columns and TV remarks - that will imform us of what they are working on. If George defends something, we better be wary.

4. Walker would give Wisconsin's energy assests to the Kochs for a dime.

Those 2 sentences means there would be no bidding. Walker could sell state assets to whomever he wants for whatever price he wants. So he could sell Wisconsin's energy commodities for a price much lower than they are worth without public approval.

6. I would guess that this point would be very important to Wisconsin
citizens. If they were going to start selling my state a piece at a time I would want to know.

8. I really think these 2 sentences buried and overlooked by most
meant the most to the Kochs & Bradleys. They want to rape at will our state.

7. There is no mystery, Walker will soon be history.
And it doesn't matter how many times he goes on Fauz Snooze to plead his case, he's a goner.
