As a male I ask for general female opinion. Is Newt Gingrich as repulsive
to women as I think he is?

Women, we need your opinion but many don't ask for it. What do women think of Newt (compared to Romney)? Will there be a gender bias?

7. I find him repulsive, starting with that sneer he so often displays. He
has an overly inflated ego and is grandiose in general. I won't even comment on his physical appearance, that has never been a factor for me. Trying to imagine (and I have a vivid imagination) a physical relationship with this man goes beyond what I can conjure up. Really...His attitude of superiority also add to the turn-off IMO.

8. Neither is attractive to me.
I've never liked Newt. I think he has a pretty high "yuk" factor.

Romney not so much but I lived for several years in Salt Lake and I am kind of used to that whole Mormon thing he has going on.

And the mushy middle uses both to vote.

25. Romney is an empty slate, a tabula rosa. I suspect he is OK with the mushy middle.
Newt has real character issues and is a first-rate hypocrite.

And women make up 52% of the electorate - you're damn right their opinion is more important than ours.

For the love of God, find another hobby ... the reflexive poutrage at ANY post which you can somehow, in your mind, twist into being perceived as sexist; has moved well beyond lame and into the realm of pathology.

Edited on Mon Nov-28-11 06:28 PM by The Velveteen Ocelot
Whatever the female equivalent of "I wouldn't f*&k that with your dick" is, that applies to Newt. I have never understood how that guy ever got laid by anybody, let alone managed to be a serial adulterer. He's not only physically unattractive - he's pasty and pudgy and probably looks like a slightly hairy Michelin Man, naked (naked is NOT how I want to think of him, eww) - but worse, he's personally unattractive; he's arrogant and mean. He's even more repulsive than you think he is.

Romney is skeevy, too, but in a different way. There's something about him that makes me suspect he has some kind of disturbing fetish.

23. The word that comes to mind is "smarmy."
And it's not appearance, though I don't like the way he looks. But the reason I don't is because he looks like he thinks he's superior and should be pampered and coddled by the very people he looks down.

I think he's kind of a toad, with all apologies to toads.

27. Mitt Romney has no Sex Appeal,he is one of those guys who one can say is good looking
but just do nothing for me. he is one of those guys people make fun of and obviously tries hard with the "who let the dogs out" type stuff to fit in with others. but it just comes off as him appearing foolish.

Gingrich is just gross in so many ways. the thought of having sex with im or even just kissing him is ughhhhhh. and it's not all based on how he looks though there is something "unique" about the way he looks to put it in a not so mean way.

38. Yes
Gingrich (and Romney) are repulsive to any woman who's ever heard their ideas, values and beliefs. Appearance has little to nothing to do with it.

Gingrich is a serial adulterer, believes he's above little things like compassion and humanity, and stupid enough to think his personal life (three marriages, one of which is to a woman 23 years younger than he is and whom he was cheating on his wife with while impeaching Clinton,) will not matter to female voters. I look forward to the fireworks between him and Romney, who has the intellectual depth and appeal of a used car salesman. Then again, that's an insult to used car salesmen - at least they're gainfully employed.

I keep hoping that some enterprising journalist will ask Romney on-camera (perhaps during one of the 'live' Republican debates,) about putting his dog on top of the family station wagon for hours while the "family" drove to their vacation destination. I would never vote for anyone who would do something so horrible to a beloved family pet, let alone someone with his ridiculous ideas.

Mitt...way more attractive, physically, but still sort of "not right" and I can't really put my finger on it.

Maybe he just has a rather cold demeanor.

Neither one is attractive to me in any way. Actually, none of the male candidates looks like a bargain to me.

I don't really care what he looks like. I would prefer not to see him.
