IF YOU ABSOLUTELY have to watch MSBC TV then.......
please do it online at JustinTV http://www.justin.tv/rockinroosters12#/w/785000336/14 . That way you still get your fix but are not supporting MSNBC TV advertisers. They will quietly slip back into 3rd place again which is the punishment they deserve.

1. Why are you trying to punish Rachel, Lawrence, Cenk &
a handful of others? I love Keith too, but he's a smart guy who knows how to play the game. He'll be just fine and will surface somewhere else by the fall.

3. because we need MSNBC TV to fail so that
being what they are... they will look for new blood when the ratings go down.... and then Rachel and Lawrence and Ed can go work with Keith at the new network he will be at in a year..... =)

23. Sorry but I think that's wrong thinking. Right now MSNBC is the only voice we have on TV.
I guess CNN could grab Keith and for sure it would improve their ratings, but wouldn't it be better to have liberals on two channels than NONE ANYWHERE? I'd love to see Keith & Schuster on CNN & Rachel, Lawrence, Ed & Cenk on MSNBC and put some real opposition to FOX! Trying to drown the only liberal voices on cable is definately NOT the answer to our success!

2. I've watched on cable for a long time without supporting their sponsors
I tune out TV ads and don't get jazzed over every new product coming down the pike. My viewing doesn't affect ratings (I don't have a Nielson box) or sponsors' sales. And I don't have Comcast.

Still, I wouldn't think twice about supporting the viewpoints offered by Rachel and the others in MSNBC primetime--they are preferable to the alternatives, and I'd cheer to see them beating Fox Noise.

21. Is that site even legal?
I'm not even clicking on it to see, but it strikes me that MSNBC wouldn't knowingly let them run a commercial free feed.

7. We stop viewing and the ratings fall, the sponsors start pulling their advertising revenue,
then where do we go?

I'm not going to shoot myself in the foot because I'm angry at what happened to Keith. I learn too much from watching them. We're big kids - shit like that happens in life.

13. I don't care either way -- I'll miss watching him. And I'm going to continue
to watch for the others I enjoy, too.

Not sure I'm the one you should be addressing your post to, but I may be missing the point.

22. Ehh. That site characterizes him as a "gadfly commentator". A highly successful eight year run
and the brand he built for MSNBC and that show hardly qualifies for that description.

Tucker Carlson was a "gadfly" commentator.

Someone's grinding axes there that probably likes Faux news better.

17. I'm with you, gateley
I don't see MSNBC looking to shift away from its business approach of catering to our end of the political spectrum (as Fox caters to the other end). That's been Griffen's strategy and there is no reason for him to change it, despite his differences with Olbermann.

MSNBC will continue offering primetime news commentary shows with a liberal orientation, and I have no problem supporting that and seeing them succeed with that approach. I think it would be a real loss if this counter to the Fox propaganda were to fail.

12. That's not true anymore.

If you have digital cable, they can tell what you're watching. They use those viewers for ratings, too.

10. Shhhhhh....
You probably need to cool it and not post that link in so many places.
I'd hate for it to become too public and then someone will shut it down and it will be ruined for the rest of us!

And pops up again somewhere else.
If it goes down try using the search engine there.

Or have a look at the menu here-

11. I'll probably just watch on the TV
Whether or not I watch doesn't really change their ratings at all, and even if it did I think Rachel Maddow deserves the ratings.

15. Rachel and Ed are just about it for me. Television sucks.
Even the movie channels suck. They show the same tired movies over and over.
The History Channel, TLC and A&E have been taken over by right wing ideologies.

25. No kidding...
I had some hope for the Oprah network thinking that at least it would be something new. Nope...same old stuff. Oprah behind the scenes as if we haven't seen enough Oprah shows. Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and Suze Orman. We can see them any day of the week on other channels. Hoarders? Yep, need more of that. But the real kicker is that they are showing the same damn movies that every other network has been showing REPEATEDLY. Yes, we need to watch "Bridges of Madison County" one...more...time!!!

Her ratings are dropping faster than an acme safe!

24. I don't want them to fall to 3rd, it would hurt Ed, Rachel & Cenk
I hope they can keep the ratings up so their shows stay on the air. MSNBC will be looking for any reason at all to can them because the ratings drop. I'm not going to stop watching my favorites and give them a reason to cut them.
