People across the world are fed up - more self-immolations in the Arab world
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-12260465
<snip>
A man has died after setting himself on fire in Saudi Arabia's south-western region of Jizan, officials have said.

There have been several acts of self-immolation in the Arab world, mimicking the suicide of a man in Tunisia which provoked the anti-government uprising.

A Mauritanian man who set himself on fire also died in hospital on Saturday.

Yacoub Ould Dahoud, a 43-year-old businessman, was transferred to a clinic in Morocco with 90% burns after his act of self-immolation in protest at Mauritanian government on Monday in the capital, Nouakchott, his family said.

1. I think we are witnessing the early stages of an all out Arab peoples liberation movements
Similar to what we saw in eastern europe/former soviet union countries in the 80s and 90s...etc.

The Arabs are sick and tired of their dictators/leaders/royal families, kings and princesses...etc. No economic opportunities, no future, no social progress...

Does anyone know if we can get Al Jazeerah in Engligh in the US?

3. Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan.
The only ones that look stable are Turkey and Iran. Hmmmm.

7. Who said anything about Arabs?
"Arab" is a linguistic category, and it doesn't mean much politically, in my view.

8. Uh, the OP?
And the linguistic category doesn't make sense when you're talking about Turkey or Iran either.

5. Look for a Europe-wide revolution this year...
$9 a gallon gas in UK and skyrocketing food prices continent-wide, people have reached the absolute breaking point.
