6. Much better than the Who which was simply awful...
It started slow and seemed to pick up at the end. Too many glitches seems to be the top criticism.

9. Sound quality was awful, but I do love me a good light show.
Perhaps that's because our oldest has helped out with the tech on some of these before at school, so we appreciate the details a little more.

And I do love me some Usher (as we say in our home, "Oooo-sha").

12. They tried. The mixing was terrible.
Usher's mike wasn't even working half the time. Don't know if the sound problem was the fault of the production crew or the venue.

type comments. Bunch of racists.

Not my favorite group, but my 10 year old was going NUTS! She loves the Black Eyed Peas and has already seen them in concert.

31. You're certainly in the minority.
I feel it was the worst SB performance ever. The only person on the stage with any talent at all was Slash and he wasn't good enough to save that debacle. It was slightly worse than the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction, which was absolutely dreadful.

35. Maybe I'm the only one, but I personally hate the circus theatrics
at musical performances. It takes away from the music and to be honest, it's often used to cover up bad singing or bad music.

And that goes for the BEP *or* "aging rocker shows" ;)

Edited on Sun Feb-06-11 10:23 PM by ctaylors6
No stupid controversy had to result. Hopefully they just realized they were playing to a different demographic than usual and did it themselves.

My kids were so funny. The older one knows the real lyrics and thought it was funny how they threw in an UH or Uh HUH for the bad words. My younger one saw him and asked if that was that where a bad word was supposed to go?

Edited to add: I really enjoyed them as well as Slash
