Fox "News" and the "Obama" versus "President Obama" thing
This frequently comes up as an issue on DU...I don't know about others, but if I happen to type "Obama" rather than "President Obama," it's not an intention to show disrespect, it's a matter of typing one less word is faster. Still, there are people on DU who take issue and speak up about it.

So the purpose of this post isn't to tell people what to do or how to do it, but to point out a simple observation...I can;t recall one time in eight years that Fox referred to "Bush" rather than "President Bush" on their home page, and after landing a major coup...the O'Reilly interview...you'd think they'd write "President Obama." They didn't.

1. To them he is just that black guy
If they refer to him as the President then they have to show respect and they do not want to do that

3. I'll bet they refer to him as *former president* Obama... when the time comes.

4. Fox is anti-American.
And anti-democracy, along with anti-intellectual and anti-right. They're a bunch of screaming, pasty white hypocrites who lie every time they open their pieholes.
