It makes no difference whether the Arab World views the U.S.

as a staunchly Christian nation or a secular democratic republic, if we continually support corrupted, torturous dictators just because they support us on international issues and regardless of how these despots treat their own people, the resulting dynamic will most likely drive those oppressed peoples to religious fundamentalism as their only means of escape and relief.

Neither the Christian nor the secular view of our nation warrants sympathy or admiration from the oppressed peoples under such circumstances as both perspectives can only represent hell on earth to them.

If we seriously want to end "terrorism," we must change the way our nation treats the people of the world, the current course is a dead end.

1. The U.S. has consistently supported market-based "stability" over

people-based stability. The latter is much harder and messier to achieve, so our fundamentally lazy and corrupt leaders have ignored that path and gone with the money track.

That is why I look favorably on ending foreign aid.

End them all and start over. The first thing to be looked at is whether the money goes directly to the poor or to some money grubbing politician.
