The last time the republicans were in power--they were the WRECKING CREW.
Now it seems that along with some Democrats...the CLEANUP CREW is here.
Let me be crystal clear.
The wrecking crew dismantled whatever they could and stole as much national treasure as they could fit in their pockets.
Now, the cleanup crew is basically going to pick the pockets of the human wreckage that the wrecking crew left behind.
They are going to take down the last vestiges of our civilized society--unions.
There IS a part of me that sits back and almost gloats because THIS IS WHAT YOU VOTED FOR!
Then I remember, I voted to.
We had tough choices to make and I held my nose and made them.

Will I do it again?

I guess I can't even answer that at this point--but I have ZERO confidence in what is going on in DC.

1. I didn't vote for union busting.
Although I think there are problems with some union representation, like anything else, they support workers and worker rights in many cases.

And those that think sending jobs overseas helps other countries, I say send union organization to those countries also to avoid race to the bottom.

However I am due beer and travel money and many experiences, as far as 'voting for something' I think that is pretty obvious, less consolidations, more compassion with justice.
