Starting now and for the next five years, nobody is allowed to use the Web to compare himself/herself for Martin Luther King Jr., or anybody else to Hitler.

Anybody do does either will have to answer to me.

The official Twitter account of incarcerated former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has likened his recent indictment on charges he turned City Hall into a criminal enterprise with persecution faced by civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

"Martin Luther King Jr. in the United States rightfully disobeyed the government," the Twitter account @KwameAndFamily said on Sunday morning.

Kilpatrick, his father, Bernard, and three associates were charged by a federal grand jury on Wednesday as part of a wide-ranging federal probe of alleged corruption among Detroit leaders.

In fact, Dr. King and I share more than 99% of our DNA!

Dr. King breathed oxygen, just like me.

It was seen more than once, that when Dr. King was wounded, what flowed from the would was colored RED. That happens when I cut myself, too!

Dr. King believed that God intended people to help each other, look after each other, treat each other fairly, and fight poverty and injustice.

Guess what! I BELIEVE THAT TOO!

Shit like his "Y" chromosome and my melanin deficiency do nothing to change this.

We both believe in non-violence. Dr. King loved his family but sometimes did things to hurt them deeply. Well, dang, ME TOO!

The similarities just keep right on piling up.
