“In a show of political solidarity, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) launched a fundraising campaign on Monday in support of the Wisconsin Democratic lawmakers as they battle an anti-union measure being pushed by Gov. Scott Walker.

The New York Democrat, who is perhaps the party’s most prestigious fundraiser, sent the email to his list of supporters, stressing the need to stem the attacks on collective bargaining rights.

I'm sure you've watched as the hard-right governor of Wisconsin is doing everything he can to eliminate collective bargaining rights for the men and women working in state government.

He may wish to take America back to the 1920s, when workers had no rights, but the rest of us certainly don't.”...cont...

I hope the crowd stands firm; that governor has some big campaign contributors to keep him from giving in to his own workers.
