9. Not true
The current fiscal year ending this June, is facing a $150 million deificit.

The next biannual budget starting July 1 is facing approx $3 billion deficit. I don't see anyone disputing it. So cuts need to come from somewhere.

11. Not disputing that cuts necessary, but prior to Walker's term,
and to his tax-cut 'gifts,' deficit story was quite different, wasn't it?

14. The Wisconsin budget has been a mess going on ten years
Previous governors, R and D, have addressed it with shell games.

12. WRONG. More money needs to come in from the wealthy.
I don't buy into that fascist bullshit about "we're broke, so we need to cut help to the working class and poor". There's plenty of money out there - all of it concentrated at the top. Those rich bastards need to start giving back or we're going to take it from them.

15. Wisconsin income taxes are well above the national average
Both sides agree to it. I don't think your solution will get too far with many people.

18. We rank like 22nd
when you look at combined taxes and fees as a percentage of income. I don't know how that puts us "well above the national average." Don't let other states fool you with lower taxes but very much higher fees.

I had calculated the my state taxes were $500 above national average, but considered it money well spent.

20. Bull crap
There is more than one way to erase a deficit. The best way is to raise revenues..When you charge the maximum amount without losing business then you consider making some cuts. They go together like a horse and carriage. Income and Expense, both are necessary. The more income you have, usually, the more sound your business/Government is..

5. And Walker himself broke WI
intentionally, with the most recent tax breaks. The "fiscal crisis" in WI was rigged to rob middle class folks.

7. But if he didn't give the the tax breaks, how could they create all those jobs?
What's that? They put the tax savings into bonuses and CEO compensation packages? And the few jobs created are all overseas? Never mind.

8. Walker destroyed Wisconsin's economy with those goddamn tax cuts
and now he's punishing the people that didn't vote for him as a way of "fixing" the problem.

Petulant little shit.

17. What the hell has this got to do with union busting?
He is trying to prevent people from organizing and the state being broke has got nothing to do with
his union busting, even the state Senator the drew up the bill had to admit it after questioning from
local journalist that this bill will not save any money.

Stop adding more crap to the crap already.

19. Hosni Walker is using the budget deficit as an excuse for his union busting
while at the same time giving tax breaks to his business cronies. That's what I (and Colbert) meant to point out.
